Review: Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Skincare

I love makeup and I love skin care even more! Anything to help stop the aging process is number one with me. Recently I had the opportunity to review a product that I've mentioned before here on the blog (read the post here)- a new line of bareMinerals Skincare from Bare Escentuals.

What a power punch! Bare Escentuals has done it again with a breakthrough beauty product. For my review, I received the Naturally Luminous Skin Renewing Trio, collection includes:

• Purifying Facial Cleanser (60 mL / 2 Fl. Oz.)
• Purely Nourishing Moisturizer: Combination Skin (30 mL / 1 Fl. Oz.)
• Skincare Firming Eye Treatment (5 mL)

My Thoughts

After a week of using bareMinerals Skincare products my face is noticeably softer. The Purifying Facial Cleanser is on the thick side and it does not produce a ton of soapy bubbles. But it does its magic and cleaned my skin, taking off my daily make-up and grime. I have a combination skin type more on the oily side and it did not dry my skin out.

The Purely Nourishing Moisturizer is by far my favorite product. Just like the cleanser it goes on thick, non-greasy, and left my skin feeling great. I just wish it contained an SPF in it for those days when you don’t want to ware any make-up. Again, the smell could be improved upon.

The Skincare Firming Eye Treatment cream is light and creamy. I could see a noticeable difference in my puffiness and the skin around my eyes. The skin became softer and firmer.

All of products have a light scent that could be improved on and I wish they contained SPF in them. As a working mom and I don’t have a lot of time to spend on skincare and beauty routines. I look for products that pack a power punch and multitask to quickly show results without requiring a commitment. I was highly impressed with Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Skincare and I’d love to try more of their products.
