Austin

Easter on Ice - Saturday, April 23, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Event included in the price of admission. Admission is $6 and skate rental is $4 for children and adults. Kids under 5 years of age skate for only $5, including skate rental. Get $2 off of general admission when you bring in 2 canned food items to be donated to Capital Area Food Bank of Texas. First United Methodist Church - Saturday, April 23, from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Bring your own blanket and lunch and a dozen empty plastic eggs. After eating and visiting, there will be some family-friendly races and then the egg hunts. Children will be divided into age groups. Approximate schedule of activity times: 11 to 11:45 a.m. lunch; 11:45 a.m. Easter Bunny arrival and family races; 12 p.m. youngest group egg hunt; and 12:15 p.m. older groups hunt. 1201 Lavaca.

Bethany Lutheran Church - Saturday, April 23, from 10 a.m. - noon. Celebrate Easter with an egg hunt, a moonbounce, a barrel train, games, activities, and more. The event is open to little ones up through 4th grade. The egg hunt will begin at 10:15 a.m. Free. 3701 W. Slaughter Lane.

Easter Eggstravaganza 2011 - Saturday, April 23, from 10 - 11:30 a.m. Join Riverbend Church for a free community egg hunt. Activities will include Moonjumps, Inflatables, Petting Zoo, Kiddie Express Train, Face painting, and over 12,000 eggs. Kids 5th grade and under are invited to join in the egg hunt. Gus Garcia Recreation Center - Saturday, April 23 at 11 a.m. Family Easter Egg Hunt. Bring the family for a traditional Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt is for walking toddlers and kids up to 11 years old. Pioneer Farms - Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24. Easter Celebration for children of all ages. A festive, old-fashioned Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. both days on the native prairie, just like your great-grandmother enjoyed. With live music and prizes. Egg-stra special family fun. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Regular admission. General admission prices are $8 for adults, and $6 for children. Children 2 and under are free.

Easter Egg Design Contest & Dye-O-Rama - Friday, April 22, from 12 – 4:00 p.m. Students from the University of Texas School of Architecture and School of Fine Arts are invited to compete for prizes with their Easter egg designs. Kids of all ages are also invited to come learn about the art and history of Easter egg decoration. Supplies will be provided – free of charge – for everyone to dye and decorate eggs. Centennial Terrace at the Neill-Cochran House Museum, 2310 San Gabriel Street (corner of 23rd and San Gabriel). Free parking is available behind the House. Buda

Community Wide Egg hunt - Saturday, April 23, from 9 - 11:30 a.m. Festivities will include an egg hunt, bouncy castles, face paintings, arts and crafts, trackless train ride, petting zoo, and rock climbing. Easter Eggsperience - Saturday, April 23, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Live Oak Church and partner stores at 1890 Ranch are hosting this free event featuring a trackless train, face painting, crafts, live music, games, giveaways AND Easter Egg hunts every 15 minutes! Celebration Church - There will be a Helicopter Candy Drop during all Celebration Easter Services. Friday, April 22 at 6 p.m., Saturday, April 23 at 3 and 5 p.m., Sunday, April 24 at 9 a.m., 10:45 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. There will also be a Spanish service on Sunday, April 24 at 2 p.m. Westinghouse Campus, 1202 Rabbit Hill Road.

Hutto

Easter Egg Hunt in Fritz Park - Saturday, April 23, from 9 - 10:15 a.m. Greet the Easter Bunny and Hutto Hippo and hunt for goodies on the hill at Fritz Park! Prize eggs will be hidden on the hill for hunters to find and turn in to claim a prize. Hunts are split into age groups: 0-3,4-6, 7-8, and 9-10. Round Rock

Easter Egg Hunt - Saturday, April 23, from 9 - 10:30 a.m. Children are divided by age groups for hunting. Each age group, up to 12 years old, will have lots of candy to hunt and a chance to find special prize eggs. Only one parent per child for the infant through 4 age hunt may enter the hunt area. Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled hunt time to get in line for the hunt. Due to the number of hunters for the 0-4 year olds, there are two hunt times for that age group. Please hunt only once for 0-4 year olds to ensure every one has the opportunity to find candy and eggs. Free. Old Settlers Park. Schedule:
9 a.m. - infant-4 year olds (One parent per child allowed in hunt ring)

Flashlight Egg Hunt - Thursday, April 21, at 8 p.m. $5 per child age 3 and up. Bring your flashlight to find eggs filled with candy and prizes at Old Settlers Park in this fun hunt. Meet at the Lakeview Pavillion in Old Settlers Park for check-in before the event. Please arrive 20-30 minutes early for your hunt. Schedule:
8 p.m. - Parent assisted hunt
8:30 p.m. - Children only hunt

Spring Egg Hunt in Cat Hollow Park - Saturday, April 23, from 10 a.m. - noon. Hunt for eggs and receive a goody bag. Bring your own camera for pictures with the Easter Bunny. A moonbounce, face painting, games and more. Cat Hollow Park, O'Connor Drive.
