1) Pre-filled sippy cups - With a one year old and the Teaxs heat beating down on you we always have to have sippy cup in the fridge ready to go. Have whatever drink you need in the frig ready to grab and go.
2) Prepackage snacks - This is goes hand in hand with tip number one. I ALWAYS have packaged cereal, cookies, fruit snacks, fruit, etc ready to go. All I have to do is grab some snacks and we run out the door. I place them in the pantry and fruit in the frig next to the sippy cups. Snacks help tide the my son over until we can have lunch.
3) Diaper Bag ready to go - I always have my bag ready to go with toys for my son, restock the diapers and wipes. I also place books and a favorite stuffed animal for him. A restocked diaper bag is great to grab and go.
4) All-purpose wipes in the SUV - I keep all-purpose cleaning wipe for a quick clean up. Works like a charm for spills and clean up the baby!
5) Sunscreen/ Bug spray: I keep a small sunscreen in my diaper bag and one container in the car of each. We're ready no matter where we are in a rush to go. Our skin is covered!
6) Portable first aid kit in the SUV -There have been a few times where I needed a bandaid for myself or my son. This makes it so nice to be on the go and not have to stop at a store when your small kids get a boo-boo.
7) Recharged Cell Battery - There have been times where I needed to make a call and my cell battery is down to the last bar of service! Having a second battery or car charger is needed especial for emergencies.
8) Plan Errands - I try to plan my errands to tackle all the stores I need in one trip. Saves on gas, mileage, and time!
9) Change of clothes - I dont know how many times I've had to change my son on the go after a spill or accident. Having a fresh change of clothing is key! Especially for a happy baby.
10) Make Shopping Lists- This goes with planned errands. With shopping list you can have what you need on hand, have your coupons cut, and and there’s no hassle trying to get your shopping done!
Our lives are crazy busy enough without making it harder on ourselves. A few minutes of organization the day before can make all the difference. What are your tips for making life easier on the go?
About Seattle’s Best Coffee
As coffee blenders and roasters since 1970, we’ve seen a lot come and go. We went from a tiny shop on the Seattle waterfront to being declared Seattle’s Best Coffee in a local competition. In 2003, we joined the Starbucks family which has allowed us to place more resources into further honing our special way of crafting delicious, impossibly smooth coffee. Every step of the process, from coffee cherry to your cup, is managed to fit our exacting standards and our premium approach to coffee. Now, we’re making it easier to find your perfect coffee with our new Level System.
